June 23, 2017
Herndon dropped their third straight game, and it was another close one as they were downed by the Aces of Alexandria, 8-7.
Dakota Graham got the scoring started in the top of the second with an RBI single, driving in Cayden Stover to make it 1-0.
Alexandria then tied it up in the bottom of the third on a RBI single of their own.

The Aces came out swinging in the bottom half, however, as the club would cross the plate six times to take a 7-3 lead heading into the seventh.
Herndon responded in the top of the seventh with four runs to tie it up, as Dakota Graham and Brett Norwood each plated two with RBI doubles.
Alexandria scored once in the bottom half to take the lead, and seal the win.
On the mound for the Braves, Bowen Plagge's one inning featuring two strikeouts was the highlight for the staff's relief.
With the loss, the Braves stoop to 8-9.
The team's next game will be tomorrow at Herndon High School as they face the Baltimore Dodgers at 7:00 p.m.
